Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Spears was conceived in McComb, Mississippi, and was raised in Kentwood. Britney attended dance classes as a kid and was a fantastic gymnast, winning many competitions. Britney is a singer, but most importantly, she loved dancing classes. At age 8 Britney was a contestant in The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989), but was denied due to her age. The show then redirected her to an off-Broadway show, "Ruthless", for two years as the main character. When she was 11 she was back in the running for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) and she made it as a mouseketeer alongside several stars of the day (Justin Timberlake as well as JC Chasez from *NSYNC as well as Ryan Gosling). In the late 90s, Britney signed with Jive Recording Artist. When she released her debut album"Baby One Last Time" "...Baby One More Time" in early 1999, Britney was a worldwide hit with 13 million copies of "Baby" and 9 million copies (as as of July 2001) of her second album "Oops !...I Did It Again" and was released in the month of May of 2000. Britney was the daughter of Lynne Spears & Jamie Spears She has a big brother named Bryan Spears & a little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney was the daughter of Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston, was always determined to be a celebrity. Britney auditioned for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989-1994) on TV at the age of 8. However, she was not old enough for the part. Britney moved to New York with her mother and baby sibling. She appeared in a variety of TV advertisements as well as being an understudy for Natalie Portman in "Ruthless" off-Broadway. Her love of dance and music took over and, 2 years later, she auditioned again for part in "Mickey Mouse" again and, this time, was selected for the part along with Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
