Beyonce Giselle Knowles, was born on
September 4 on 1981 in Houston. Tina Knowles, her mom, designs the glittering
costumes, and Mathew Knowles is Destiny's Child's manager. Solange, her older
sister (4 years apart) has released her debut album. She dances alongside her
big sister at DC-3 shows. Beyonce is of Louisiana Creole and African descent.
Whitney Houston discovered her and her group. Lovefool The song, performed by
The Cardigans, is her top song. Her most coveted piece of clothing is a pair of
metallic work boots. She is the writer and producer of many of the group's hit
songs, including "Jumpin Jumpin""Bootylicious", “Nasty
Girls”, "Independent Women", and "Happy Face". She is the
main singer for Destiny's Child. Toured together with Christina Aguilera as her
opening performance (2000). Toured with TLC as their opening act (1999). Cat
named Master P Attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in
Houston, Texas. Solange's big sibling and Nixon and Koi Knowles her older

Year Award. She is a huge lover and admirer of Middle Eastern music. Her most
popular hit song is the track "Crazy in Love" that she released in
2003. The Radio Music Awards, MTV Europe Video Music Awards and Billboard
Awards are among the award shows she has been on stage at in 2003. She also was
a part of a South African AIDS benefit show in November 2003, organized by Bono
of U2 in order to tackle the AIDS epidemic in sub-Saharan Africa. (February 8

awards at this year's (2004) show. Mathew, her father, is African-American. Her
mother, Tina, is of Louisiana Creole roots - mostly African and French with
ancestors who came from Louisiana as well as, prior to that, Canada. Beyonce is
1/32 Irish and has distant Breton and Spanish, Indonesian and Chinese roots.
According to some, she created a stage character known as "Sasha" to
conquer her shyness.
