Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28, 1977 was an American actress best recognized for her part in 24 and the voice acting that she provided for Tess in Naughty Dog’s video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised there. She graduated from Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. As a child she was a competitor in Irish dance and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she received in 1999. Wersching began her acting career as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. Then she went on to play guest roles on shows such as Charmed as well as Killer Instinct, Charmed and Supernatural. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's daytime soap show General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Additionally, she worked at theaters like Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. She was also an episode regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was a catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was revealed that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap of the character Tess. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's account on Twitter before she was finally revealed in the story trailer that was shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching was to play the role of the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
